After meeting a hardy band of human survivors, Tetsuo learns that Yukio has survived as well, his consciousness downloaded into the escape pod—which is also a battle robot! But the people Tetsuo has found are not the only survivors, and a mysterious humanoid kaiju also lurks among the ruins…

Another band of human survivors, led by the mysterious Colonel, wants to seize control of the mall—and they have their own kaiju to do it with!

emlar, a man-eating kaiju controlled by Nadare, attacks Mishima Mall just before the survivors relocate. With Tetsuo out of the cockpit after a misunderstanding, Nayuta pilots a damaged Yukio to engage Femlar alongside Ao and Land of Men, but the childlike kaiju may be too much for them to handle. When all seems to be lost, a strange beckoning cat may prove to be the key to unlocking Yukio’s final form—but at what cost?
