The Highly Anticipated "With You, Our Love Will Make It Through" Anime
The anime adaptation of Chihiro Yuzuki’s manga "With You, Our Love Will Make It Through" (Kimi to Koete Koi ni Naru) is officially set to premiere on October 14th. Distributor REMOW recently unveiled a new trailer that not only confirmed the debut date but also revealed that the opening theme, "Kusuguttai" (Ticklish), will be performed by CHiCO with HoneyWorks, marking their return to music after a hiatus in 2023. The series will air in Japan on Tokyo MX, Kansai TV, and BS11, with a global simulcast available shortly after the TOKYO MX broadcast.
Cast and Creative Team of "With You, Our Love Will Make It Through"
The anime features a star-studded cast of voice actors. Manaka Iwami voices Mari Asaka, while Takuya Eguchi plays the beastfolk Hidaka Tsunagu. Kotaro Nishiyama is Yukihiro Aida, and Ai Kakuma joins the cast as Kisara, another feline-type beastfolk.
The series is co-directed by Shin Itagaki and Hiromi Kimura at Millepensee. Itagaki is also the series composer and scriptwriter, while Kimura serves as the character designer. The music is composed by Akiyoshi Yasuda, known for his work on "Real Girl" and "Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World?". The creative team is rounded out by Art Director Masakazu Miyake, Color Designer Miyuki Kibata, Director of Photography Arimasa Omi, and Sound Directors Shin Itagaki and Ryōsuke Naya.
The Story Behind "With You, Our Love Will Make It Through"
The manga, which is being released in English by Yen Press, tells the story of high school student Mari Asaka. She finds herself drawn to Hidaka Tsunagu, a beastfolk attending her school. In a world where humans and beastfolk coexist but still face prejudice, Mari is initially nervous. However, she quickly discovers Tsunagu's kindness and strength, finding herself falling for him. The story explores the challenges and sweetness of their cross-species romance, confronting societal divides and expectations as they navigate their growing feelings for one another. The manga is ongoing, with its tenth volume set to be released on September 25th.
