"Li'l Miss Vampire Can't Suck Right" Anime Premieres October 12

Get ready for a comedic bite! The highly anticipated anime adaptation of Kyōsuke Nishiki's manga, Li'l Miss Vampire Can’t Suck Right (Chanto Suenai Kyūketsuki-chan), is officially set to premiere on October 12, 2025. The first episode will air on TOKYO MX, Kansai TV, BS Asahi, and AT-X at 10:30 p.m. JST. For streaming, the series will be available on U-NEXT, Anime Hōdai, and d Anime Store starting October 13 at 12:00 a.m. JST.


Plot and Characters

The story follows Luna Ishikawa, a second-year student who desperately tries to live up to her mysterious vampire image. However, she's clumsy and struggles to suck blood properly. Her life takes a turn when her classmate, Tatsuta Ōtori, discovers her secret and decides to help her become the fearsome creature of the night she wants to be. The animated adaptation promises to maintain the humor and warmth of the original manga.


Cast and Creative Team


The anime features a talented voice cast, including Minami Tanaka as Luna Ishikawa, Kenshō Ono as Tatsuta Ōtori, and M.A.O as Eiko Sakuma. The series is directed by Sayaka Yamai at studio feel., with Yuniko Ayana handling the series composition and Takuya Tani designing the characters. The music is composed by Tomoki Kikuya and produced by Lantis. Both the opening and ending themes, "Seishun no Silhouette" and “Senkō Hanabi,” will be performed by H△G and feature the voice of Luna, Minami Tanaka.

To celebrate the upcoming premiere, a special livestream event has been confirmed for September 16 at 9:00 p.m. JST. The event will feature the main voice actors and offer fans a sneak peek. The original manga concluded its serialization in Monthly Dragon Age on August 8, with a three-chapter spinoff planned for the magazine's November issue. Yen Press has licensed the manga for English publication.
